1. Introduction

FoilStash is a listings platform where collectors and sellers of trading cards (currently Yu-Gi-Oh!, with support for additional games) can list, browse, and find cards, sealed product, and lots, and connect with each other to arrange a trade. FoilStash also offers optional paid subscriptions for buyers (Pro User) and sellers (Seller Plans).

2. What FoilStash Is — And Is Not

This is the single most important section of these Terms. Read it before you buy or sell anything.

FoilStash is a place to list and browse cards, connect buyers and sellers via Contact Reveal, and track Wanted posts, decks, and your own collection.

FoilStash is not a payment processor, escrow service, or party to any sale.

We do not collect, hold, or transmit any money between a buyer and a seller for a Listing. There is no checkout, no order, and no escrow anywhere on FoilStash for buying or selling cards — the Cart is an organizational tool only and never creates an order or charges anyone. Every transaction for a card, sealed product, or lot is a private agreement directly between the buyer and the seller; price, payment method, condition verification, shipping, and delivery are entirely between those two users. We also do not inspect, grade, or authenticate any physical item listed on the platform.

Because there is no in-platform payment or escrow, you transact with other users entirely at your own risk. Verify a counterparty's rating and listing history, agree on condition and photos before paying, use a traceable payment method, and never pay for an item you haven't been able to verify. If something goes wrong, use the Report function (Section 9) — we can suspend or remove a user for misconduct, but cannot refund or recover funds we never held.

The only money that ever flows through FoilStash is your own subscription payment for Pro User or a Seller Plan (Section 4) — never a card's sale price.

3. Account Registration & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to register.
• Registration requires a first name, last name, email, phone number, and password. Your phone number may be shared with other users through Contact Reveal (Section 7) — don't register if you're not willing to share it with counterparties you choose to deal with.
• You must keep your account information accurate, and are responsible for all activity under it.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms (Section 9).

4. Subscriptions & Payments

FoilStash offers two independent, optional subscriptions, both billed through PayPal Subscriptions:

• Pro User — a buyer-side perk subscription with a 30-day trial. It does not grant any ability to sell.
• Seller Plans (Seller / Pro Seller / TCGStore, or a one-time Seller Trial) — required, together with admin approval (Section 5), to create Listings. There is no free ongoing seller tier.

• Subscriptions renew automatically through PayPal until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period unless required by law.
• The same applies if we suspend or ban your account for a Terms violation (Section 9) — the current billing period's fee is not refunded.
• We never see or store your PayPal credentials or card details.
• We'll notify you before a price change takes effect on your next renewal.
• We do not collect tax on card sales, because we're never a party to those sales — any tax you owe on your buying/selling activity is your own responsibility. Subscription fees themselves may be subject to tax depending on your jurisdiction.

5. Seller Approval

Creating a Listing requires both admin approval of a seller application and an active Seller Plan (paid tier or the one-time Seller Trial). We may request information as part of reviewing an application, decline it, or revoke seller approval at any time for violations of these Terms.

6. Listings

• Listings fall into set categories: Singles, sealed product, and Lots & Collections.
• Price and currency are set by the seller at listing time and are not automatically converted or updated afterward — a price is a snapshot, not a live quote. Always confirm current price and availability with the seller directly.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of anything you list (Section 8).
• A Listing is an invitation for interested buyers to contact the seller, not an offer that binds FoilStash.

7. Contact Reveal & Off-Platform Transactions

"Show Details" / Contact Reveal shows you another user's name and phone number so you can arrange a deal directly. By using it, you agree that:

• Everything after contact is revealed — price, condition, shipping/meetup, and payment — is solely between you and the other user.
• FoilStash has no visibility into, and no responsibility for, what's agreed off-platform.
• Contact Reveal is rate-limited; attempting to circumvent that limit violates these Terms.
• Misusing revealed contact information (harassment, spam, unsolicited marketing) may result in suspension.

8. Trading Card Listing Standards

• No counterfeit cards listed as genuine.
• Proxies, altered cards, and reprints must be clearly disclosed as such — never presented as an original genuine card.
• Condition must be accurately represented using the platform's standard condition scale; graded cards must state grading company and grade accurately.
• You must actually own, or have clear authority to sell, everything you list — no stolen goods, and no items you can't deliver.
• No listing anything illegal to sell in your jurisdiction or the buyer's.

9. Reporting, Suspension & Enforcement

• Any Listing, user, or message can be reported; we may remove content, restrict a Listing, or suspend/terminate an account based on the review.
• Because FoilStash never holds funds, acting on a report never includes refunding or reversing a payment made off-platform.
• We may suspend an account immediately, without notice, for fraud, harassment, threats, counterfeit listings, or conduct risking user safety or platform integrity.
• A seller who lists an item at a stated price and then refuses to honor that price for a buyer who contacts them at it (bait-and-switch pricing) is in violation of these Terms and may be suspended or permanently banned. As described in Section 4, a ban or suspension for a Terms violation does not refund any subscription fee already charged for the current billing period.
• Non-payment by a buyer. A buyer who saves items to their Cart and agrees a purchase with a seller — after Contact Reveal or by any other means — and then fails to pay, or stops responding once the seller has set the item aside, packed, or shipped it, is in violation of these Terms. FoilStash never holds funds and cannot collect payment on a seller's behalf (Section 2), so suspension or a permanent ban is the only remedy we have, and we may apply it after a single reported incident.
• How a ban is enforced. A ban is recorded against the phone number on the account, not the name or email address. Registration requires a phone number and each number may be used by only one account (Section 3), so a banned person cannot restore access by signing up again under a different name or email. Signing in and creating a new account are both refused while a ban stands. If you believe a ban is mistaken — including a number reassigned to you by your carrier — contact us at the address in Section 19 and we will review it.

10. Reference Prices Disclaimer

Third-party reference prices shown alongside a card (e.g., TCGPlayer or CardTrader market data) are informational only, pulled periodically from third parties, not guaranteed current or accurate, and never an offer by FoilStash to buy or sell at that price. Always confirm actual price with the seller.

11. Deck Builder & My Collection

• The Deck Builder and My Collection are personal organizational tools — nothing built, saved, shuffled, or reordered there creates a transaction, offer, or obligation.
• Price summaries are informational estimates, not a quote or offer.
• My Collection reflects only what you tell us you own — we don't verify ownership.

12. Badges, Quests & Rewards

Badges, quests, avatar unlocks, and similar rewards have no cash value, can't be sold, transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money or credit, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

13. Wanted Posts

Wanted Posts work like Listings in reverse. Sections 2, 7, and 9 apply equally to Wanted Posts and their responses.

14. Intellectual Property & Trademark Disclaimer

FoilStash's software, design, and branding are owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or its licensors. By posting a listing photo or description, you grant us a license to display it on the platform for its intended purpose, and confirm you own the rights to it (or have permission to post it).

Card names, set names, card artwork, and game names (including Yu-Gi-Oh! and any other supported games) are trademarks and/or copyrights of their respective owners. FoilStash is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any card game publisher. Card images are used for identification purposes only.

15. Limitation of Liability

• FoilStash is not liable for any dispute, loss, non-delivery, misrepresentation, or damage arising from a transaction between users — we're never a party to, or holder of funds for, any card sale.
• Our total liability to you for any other claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or interruptions outside our reasonable control.

16. Data Protection

We process your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy below. By using FoilStash you consent to that processing.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.

18. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION]. Disputes with FoilStash (not between users — see Section 2) are resolved in the courts of [JURISDICTION/venue], unless applicable consumer-protection law gives you a different venue.
